San Carlos de Bariloche, the main tourist destination on the Black River Province and one of the largest in the country, is located in the northwest region of Patagonia, Argentina, 770 meters above sea level, on the southern shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi to 1,680 kilometers from the city of Buenos Aires.
